Joy to the world, the Lord in come; Let earth receive her King.
Joy seems easier to find during the Christmas season. A sense of anticipation in the air pervades and we await the special day in which we celebrate Christ’s birth. We spend hours buying the perfect gifts and looking expectantly for the gifts for which we are hoping. We look forward to time away from the routine of work and school and time to spend with family and friends. We decorate our homes and play Christmas music all to continue the rejoicing of the shepherds who first received “tidings of great joy” so many years ago.
May the joy of the season comfort the lonely, curb our materialism, and give us a greater sense of hope in God’s grand redemption plan.

I love that….”When my children look back on our Christmas celebrations, I don’t want them to remember the presents and food. I want them to remember the JOY of a family who loves and worships Jesus all the year.” Yes. I want the same thing. I want them to remember the joy. So, I don’t want anything to steal my joy this Christmas. Thank you for reminding me of that. Blessings on your blogging journey!
